You could have won game 2 on Turn 18.  Take the rook with the queen (Q->D8).  Checkmate.
EDIT: not in one turn, but it certainly would have been advantageous.

Tuesday, at 8pm EST time.  Im going to have to look up what that is forum-time.  If he's not on he may just forfeit the round.  Or I guess we could put a firm 'rule' down for replacements.  I'm kinda torn about it, honestly; and I assume this could serve as a rough outline for any future tournaments.
