Archer. Your apprentice's daughter was indeed the "victim" here, at least as far as there is a victim among this
(clusterfuck of stupidity).
As such, I am returning the remainder of the alcohol to you, to return to the owner or not, at your own discretion.However, given the attempt by the complainant- that you considered under
your authority enough to bring their case to my attention as a matter of defending
your interests- to hide their own attack on an apprentice and frame an unrelated party by directly lying to me, I
strongly suggest you excercise whatever authority you have over her to teach her to better control herself in the future.
And yes, I am aware that under Orcish law the unrelated parties could have been punished due to their familial ties with some of the individuals actually involved; however, that is not the case in the laws applied here, and her attempts to decieve me as to the identities of the parties involved, rather than identifying the involved dwarves and suggesting their relatives who do fall under tower authority be punished, implies she knew that and decided to lie to me to get them punished anyway.
I suggest that in the future you at least screen complaints for plausibility before coming to me demanding I act on them. I will look highly unfavourably on any repeating of such incidents, from you or the current complainant.
Rivalia, your
involved apprentices at least did not attempt to
directly deceive me. However, attempting to lie to me through omission, inciting conflict, and taking it upon themselves to award themselves damages for an assault they intentionally provoked in the first place are unacceptable. As such, I'm tasking you with preventing their involvement in any more of these incidents;
Personally, I suggest you focus their training on "how to not be an idiot" rather than magical matters for a while, but I leave it up to your discretion.
