There can be a bunch of different 1st Edition things, actually, and so 1st Edition or Limited Edition or Unlimited Edition does not affect card rarity for the purposes of this RP, I think.

Updated.  That is a good deal of backstory.  Thank you for all the plot threads I can use that exist within it.

By the way, are we ignoring the Field Spell zone for this? I notice we've been sticking Field Spells in the Spell/Trap zone.

(On a slightly related question: are we using the newest Field Spell rules or no? Since July, each player has been able to have their own Field Spell, as opposed to the old Field Spell being destroyed when the other player plays a Field Spell.)

Maybe I'm just old school. But it's better with only one field active.

So she had THREE tomatos?

Yeah.  Upon destruction it allows her to get Nurse Retificule on the field, helpful if she isn't able to summon one, or get Bad Reaction to Simochi.  Nearly 1 in 4 odds of gaining the ability to get one of the cards critical to the  operation of the deck.  I'll post the constitution of it after the game is over.

It's definitely a controversial change, but it has some good effects. Mostly it makes it more feasible to have a field-spell-centric deck. (Well, arguably good effect, at least. My Madolches and Ghost Tricks are fans. )

Running three of a card is pretty standard.

FYI, I'm planning to offer a challenge to her after the duel, so you may want to wait until after that.
