Incidentally, if Pendulums end up being allowed, I might play Qliphorts - they've got interesting mechanics and I want to try them out, but I haven't had a chance.

I probably won't vote to ban them.  Though I haven't heard good things, that's hardly a novel thing in the fanbase at large, and I don't really have any experience with them either way.

I'm in favor, because I want to play them. I also don't think that they're quite as complex as people think, and understanding them would only be an issue in the first duel or two they showed up in.

If pendulums were used, wouldn't you need Pendulum Zones on the field? Against a deck without Pendulums, a deck with Pendulums would have two more Monster/Spell slots.

Hmmm.... I dunno how Pendulums work, but I think in that case you'd just allow the other deck to have the extra slots.

Yep, there are two Pendulum Zones on the field.  Think of them as analogous to the Field Zone; just as you can only put Field Spells in the Field Zone, you can only put Pendulum Monsters in a Pendulum Zone.  They're also like Field Spell zones in that their contents are spells: specifically, Pendulum Monsters in the Pendulum Zone are no longer treated as monsters, but are instead treated as continuous spells.

The pendulum zones would just be an extension of the duel disk, a monster slot at either end of the duel disk.

It's exactly like Culise said with field spells. Everyone has more slots to use, but only Pendulums can actually go there. So, it's sort of true, but in the same way it's true that decks that run a Field Spell have one more slot over decks that don't.

2) I'm curious.  In the game, are there going to be any card games on motorcycles?
