I got a better idea. Get that shard and thrust it into the switch thingimabob on his head.

[5] Orion
[3] Fisherman Thrall
[2] Hal
Orion leaps away, hurriedly prying open the door and venturing further into the hull of the fishing vessel. He takes cover behind a spool of steel rope connected to a large motor, which has high-voltage cables attached to it and strewn across the floor of the space you are in. The room that you pursue him into is a somewhat wide hallway with three such spools, which emerge from some cavity beneath the floor. The space between each spool and the rim of the hole is just large enough to fit a person though!
(5) vs [2-1] The fisherman chases you with his pipe, surprising you from behind as he swings it in a wide arc, which you fail to dodge. You are subsequently knocked against the wall. Your life support backpack withstands the brunt of the force, although you hear a cracking noise as you stand back up.
[4-3] vs (6) The fisherman jumps on top of you and wrestles you to the ground. You break free, but only after about two minutes of struggling. The fisherman himself seems to have stopped making any effort to keep you down, so you throw him back a few meters and pull yourself to your feet.
Orion is gone. Furthermore, it seems he has arranged the powercords to the giant motors in such a fashion as to create a tangled web of cables. You can easily climb over them, but you get the feeling this is some sort of trap.

Urban Station
City Manners (-1 Diplomacy during first impressions)
Grab a couple of breaching charges and go off to find out if there's a garage/workshop around here.
[6/6] It seems that there is a shortage of breaching charges, so you'll have to pay an extra 2oz to get a second one. It seems that a recent Guild expedition has made off with most of the local supplies at the armory.
As for a workshop, you have access to local Guild laboratories and workshops. Here you have access to an array of 3d printers, disintegrators, and universal catalyzers for small-scale reconstruction and crafting.
Tools available:
3D Printer: Taking a general substrate, this machine prints out a form based on a digital blueprint.
Recombobulator: This machine can disintegrate and recombine objects, or separate them into their constituent parts. It consists of two spherical hemispheres around a central pedestal, which close around it when the machine is active.
Catalyzer: This machine can facilitate most conventional chemical reactions, although is in no way a replacement for real industrial processes. It resembles a framed glass cube with controls on the corners. The glass hood is connected via pipe to the ceiling, acting as a fume hood but also supplying most gases and conditions needed for operation.

[3] You ask around, but alas you are unable to retain most of the information you learn. What you do remember is a cliche archetype attached to each name of importance.
