((That, and you wont have people cracking it open all the time *looks at Orion*, though I guess his was a cheap version. Since it's one thing to hit the face-sized front, and another to hit something the size of an eye.))
The Supreme Motors Corporation and the Lord's Motors Corporation
After the 3rd war, the mutants got in touch with the Supreme Motors Corporation, who, after studying the planet, made a lot of really good vehicles.
There was the Savanna Caravan, the most dominant truck in the Grand Savanna, it is powerful, sturdy, reliable, and has a lot of capacity.
The Lizardmen f***ing love these, heck, everyone loves them, since they let you transport things across the Grand Savanna, rather than around (by boat).
Then there's the Swamp Tank, which is an armored hovercraft, so it can provide support even on the most treacherous terrain, they're big, strong, tough, reliable, and has a mean cannon.
The Ultra Werewolves, Strong-arms, and Speartails are frequent pilots of these vehicles, as they're made for them (Goliaths can't fit though, and they're too heavy).
Then, third and finally, there's the Snow Scooter, cheap, reliable, powerful, and versatile, if the Werecats bought anything, it was this.
While the Supreme Motors Corporation didn't earn a whole lot from the Werecats, they did get on better terms with the Werelizards, who did frequent trade with the Werecats.
The Werecats previously moved most things by foot, which took time, but the Snow Scooter allowed them to transport goods faster, so their economic situation improved.
While most of the way is by sea or air, they can only go from airports and seaports, so they need to be transported via land, and trucks don't fare well in the Arctic North.
Then the CEO was replaced, and they started cutting some costs... morons. In order to make production cheaper, they reduced the quality, and disregarded important research.
The new Savanna Caravans broke down, got sand stuck in their air intakes, began to rust near the sea, lost motor power, etc.
This led to Lizardmen sitting by the road half the time to get the trucks working, which stifled trade, and lots of other things.
The new Swamp Tanks started rusting en masse, their armor cracked and crumbled, their skirts broke, and they started sinking into the swamp.
And the new Snow Scooters got unreliable and their prices raised, even though the Werecats could afford more now, those prices, were just too much.
Mutants started to make their own vehicles, they were worse than the original Supreme Motors vehicles, but they were better than the new ones.
Then one of the Lords, Zak "Motorlord" Gregory Xylia, decided to reverse engineer the original Supreme Motors vehicles, and copy them.
The product, wasn't quite the same, but way better than the competition, and Lord's Motors Corporation was born, and they were really successful.
It took years for the Supreme Motors Corporation to notice it's losses, and by then, their good reputation for quality, was stolen by Zak Gregory, who was then called; Motorlord.
The Supreme Motors Corporation soon went bankrupt, and Lord's Motors took it's place, but they're now busy trying to reach the original Supreme Motors' quality.
There is currently a hefty bounty for live Supreme Motors engineers and intact schematics, for they alone hold the secret of the Supreme Motors' quality.
Some smaller companies also try to copy the Supreme Motors Corporation, but fail, only a handful are still standing, and the only reason why, is because they managed to obtain some of those secrets, and create specific parts better than anyone else.
Edit: ((Fluff... in SPACE.))
The Space-cats
The Space-cats are 4th generation mutants descended from the Relentless Werecats, they were thought to be normal at first, but with some slight enhancements.
Their legs could handle longer falls, but this rarely saw any use, as there weren't a lot of long falls, they could jump higher (10 feet), but that didn't help avoiding bullets in a flat plain.
They could also turn mid-air without touching anything. These slight enhancements gave them an edge, but nobody saw their full usefulness.
Then a Space-cat got sent into space, where their true potential was discovered, in zero-G the turning let them orient themselves where others needed a wall to grab or more time to do so.
While jet packs could let them turn, the Space-cats' mutations did a far better job at it, the stronger jumps and better shock absorption let them reach higher speeds and safely stop.
It's theorized that they appeared in the 2nd war, because of their space-specialized mutations, but it's also possible that they excelled enough from slight enhancement alone.
Spaceships of the Steel Dragon Empire primarily use Space-cats and Speartails for soldiers, and for ship security, so a lot of Space-cats go to space SPAAACE.
The Space-cats mostly look like Relentless Werecats, but their hair doesn't have the same fluffiness, though this can be fixed by infecting them with Fluff.
