Which is why I'd prefer to be closer to them, SO THAT WE MAY HAVE MORE TO THUMP! :D

Well, seeming as the Ironmen raided pretty much all over the coast at this point in time (They even took Deepwood Motte, iirc), I think we can rest assured that - if the DM will it - we'll have plenty of Ironmen wherever we choose to seat ourselves, as long as it's in the Western lands.

Yeah, it's in my notes, look-"Chapter 3: The Ironmen Strike back".

Followed by "Chapter 4: Red Bedding", and "Chapter 5: Wightout"

Just make sure you're not breaking a betrothal to some friendly Grey when you do so and you'll be fine :P

So what do we need to do to move this forward?

Just make sure you're not breaking a betrothal to some friendly Grey when you do so and you'll be fine :P

Ah I now have the new chapter in the backstory of Elise Horn, why she got the name and why a southern woman is a member of a northern family.  Her mother (Arria Rockhearth, "the Ice Rose") ran away at the alter from a marriage to a Frey son and instead married a respected but land poor knight of House Horn (Garth Horn "the noble fool").  This resulted in Elise being raised in Kings Landing despite her being a member of house Rockhearth so far in the north.  This lead to Elise growing up with her parents at Kings Landing due to the married couple being estranged from both their families.  It was only after Garth Horn fought heroicly in Roberts Rebellion that the northmen forgave their daughter for her choice.  Sadly that war would prove to be the end of house horn for Garth was the only one who joined Roberts side and the last member of the line is Elise.  With her fathers death two years ago, Elise and her mother have left the south behind and joined their northern family.

So what do we need to do to move this forward?

Well, I've only gotten 4/7 player responses from my post on house name/banner, so I'm still waiting on that.

As for this part, I'm going to figure the consensus is...

Quote
Somewhere Northeast of Deepwood Motte, with a port/river access

Since no one gainsaid me.

Also, since almost less than half the players are actually taking an active part in the house creation (Tiruin is excused because of computer troubles), I am  going to accelerate things.

I'm just going to do the domains myself, and I'll be sending PM's for deciding on military, defense, and wealth holdings.

Well, unless someone is dissenting to the choice just use the most voted choice.

The count is currently +4 for House Stonehearth, and +3 for the Polar Bear Banner.

I'd have the votes of the others to make it official.

Oh, right, I forgot to send you my vote, only sent it to someone else without hitting reply all.

I vote for the cross-and-bear-paw banners, and I don't really care about house name, I think both Icehearth and Stonehearth sounds more like seats name house name, but I don't have a better idea.
