Hey Birdy, just clarifying something. The round parcel that Ethan gave to Alicia to hold was the head of the deserters leader, not the orb. So far as I can tell by looking at things, Ethan took the orb from the abbess and then kept it. He also took the head back from Alicia at the start of the city section, so she shouldn't have either of them at this point. (this is late, triggered by bmm thinking you had it)

Bleh. Then that was confusing and poorly communicated by Hatkitty. Why give someone an item only for to take it away? Further, why call it round when heads are not round? Alicia would have identified the object if it was a head. In which case she would have never placed it in her satchel if she knew it was a head. Bleargh. Then, if I had known that she didn't have the McGuffin, I'd have had her wander off to get drunk already.

As a side note, this reminds me of a situation in another RP where my character is carrying around two empty briefcases that he received from an ally. The GM never specified what I should do with them, so now they are his prized possessions.
