Oh, woops. You can customize their catchphrases and obviously their names, and you have complete control over the lyrics in songs. So yeah, you can customize it, just not a ton outside of the songs.

Might I recommend postimage? It works well for me, at least.

As for why, my sister's usage of Snapchat (which my father quickly halted) caused our bandwidth usage to go through the roof, prompting him to use the proxy to block the most commonly-used image-hosting site (i.e. imgur) until it climbs back down.
