Y'all are getting out of hand with this Fire Emblem stuff, I swear.
I know, I'm late.
What, the eight normal games, second sequel to a series which hasn't even finished the first sequel yet, arena game, noob game, minigames, testing thread, planning thread, and second scifi spinoff strikes you as excessive?
I really wish flashbangs work on Chryssalids (or..that its possible for us to develop such a weapon), as I'm unsure how it doesn't work in the XCOM referenced game.
I suspect it'll work on them, but I doubt it'll do very much. -15 Eva is handy, but probably not critical. -15 Hit probably isn't great, since snuggle attacks are probably really high-accuracy, making acc penalties not very effective, and brutally damaging besides, making tanking them a last resort. Taken together, it's
probably more efficient to just shoot them in the face.
Two grenades beyond mine would be certainly overkill here. One should cut it.
Except grenades only deal 7-15 damage to the bugs, and we've only got... what, four shooters left, including my Performance? Well, maybe like three shooters and a sledgehammer, taking Alex into account.
So, yeah, one more would be overkill... but one less might not be sufficient. If we have to choose I'd probably take tanking one snugglebug (or better yet, zombie) blow to blowing all of our explosives on two enemies, but it still worries me.
Oh and also I'm going to make very interesting noises if these things work on OldCom rules, meaning killing the zombie produces another super happy snuggle surprise for us.
