There are no diagonals.

Your number of tiles you can move is your MOV.

Orthogonal Cardinal movement, actually. Diagonals are not a thing in FEF (or in FE, for that matter). :P

What do we do, how far can it move?! Hopefully it'll just attack the closest cop, but if it doesn't:

3 MOV (lol) gives it the cop.
6 MOV gives it the civilian, if it wants.
7 MOV gives it access to Lincoln (Toaster).
8 MOV gives it access to Owen (Aseaheru) and Magyar (Xanmyral).
9 MOV would give it access to Arriola (Powder) should Owen or Lincoln move.

So... what's the plan? Especially from whoever is going to be the front line of said plan (aside from the rookie cop two days from retirement, of course)?

I suggest we nuke the crap out of it with grenades and stay a turn or two away from the ship to blast off if we need to. Remember, we can't take off if there is enemies in the extraction zone though.

Chryssalids are my favourite X-Com creature (except maybe the Tentuculats from TFTD). It's chryssalids all the way down.

Eh... Aren't Cyberdisks the traditional First Terror Mission foe? Admittedly I haven't played much of the original X-Com, but I always thought that the Sectoids conducted the first terror mission.

Big chance for it to be floaters. None of the missions are set. I once never encountered floaters at all in a game until July I think?
