This thread, and many others. Are actually teaching me something about Russia, and helping me learn to communicate with other cultures. This forum in general is helping me communicate with people of different beliefs, which is a good thing. Just thought I'd say that.

Are they actually leaking the very date of when they'll attack? Sure they might not be able to completely hide the preparing for an attack, but to actually have the scheduled date be leaked? That either speaks of incompetence or a bluff.

Zinc coffins are the usual containers for transporting bodies across borders, for example those of soldiers who were KIA.
It's a standard expression in German - 'Zinksarg'. Is it not known in the US? I'd've thought Vietnam would've popularized the term.

The date is likely to be accurate, given that Cassad is more or less the official voice of Novorossiya (which does not prevent him from telling at least some unsightly truths about it) and gets his information from, among other sources, the Novorossiyan intelligence.

As for the zink coffins, I am afraid it's not the Donbassians who need to make them, considering how well most of Kyiv's attacks went so far.
