Except if the central bank were intervening more, it'd just be easier to drive it down due to the predictability of their trade corridors. Communism first got hijacked by Lenin who in modern days would've been a prolific fanfic writer (seriously he wrote so much shit it filled 50+ tomes) who have perverted the entire nature of Marxist revolution by starting it in Russia and not in Germany, then it got hijacked once more by Stalin with his "communism in a single country" idea barely masking the recolor of Russian Empire with Communism replacing the Orthodox Christianity.

After that, the development of communism has completely stopped because of that religion-transformation, which has resulted in we-know-what. Disconnection from reality is a result of that.

If Lenin/Marx's works haven't been treated as HOLY MANUSCRIPTS, we could've got a theory of social-economic formations, their evolution across time and numeric criteria for the changes between such. But because it got heavily politicized from the beginning, it got very little actual numeric development and instead remained in that undeveloped form.

I blame Marx's heavy-handed language which made his works absolutely gigantic and nigh-unreadable.

The subject was the where before the petroleum industry was making a profit and injecting money into capital markets, now it is taking money out of capital markets to pay off debts.  That article is not about that subject.
