If I didn't know those were for Russias postal service, I'd have thought that it was some sort of military getup, or maybe airline.

What was their old uniform?

This is the whole difference between what you are implying and Russian post. The latter doesn't deliver quickly.

EDIT: That really is a fake. The outfits in question are the parade uniforms for the upper directors of the RPS and have been in use for 4 years already. They also tend to look nothing like the Kriegsmarine/SS uniforms outside of those 2 pictures with the cleavage-toting woman and the guy in hat embracing his daughter.
