Yep. Asset theft, bread and butter of oligarchs, like Khodorkovsky, and wannabe oligarchs, like Navalny.

Grimm also had an incident where he threatened to throw a reporter off a balcony and/or 'break you in half, like a boy'. So, yeah, he had more than that tax fraud thing going on.

1) Grimm committed crimes but wasn't persecuted for it, just prosecuted.  That's the point.
2) http://www.lemonde.fr/international/article/2014/12/30/proces-navalny-yves-rocher-une-plainte-au-service-du-pouvoir_4547460_3210.html

Quote

The supposed victim says that no crime was committed and they would have been happy to extend the contract they were supposedly getting ripped off under.  This is an unusual statement for the victim to make to say the least.

Oil at 53 and the ruble is hitting on 61. Pretty good dead cat bounce I'd say. Putin should really get to doing something about this, oh wait, they are spending 10 billion+ a week for this exchange rate to hold. There's not much time that this can continue, then the bottom will fall out [again].

I honestly think you two shouldn't gloat that much, it's not very polite.

EDIT: And ruble is back to 58.

And you come to thread only to tell how great ruler Putin is and how bad USA

Gloating over incompetence of Russian Tsar and inevitable collapse of the oversized gas station* makes my life better. Especially when butthurt Russians are around.

BTW, where is the classic "Ukrainian situation even worse" argument? Don't disappoint me Knit Tie.
