Emphasis mine. (To be specific, his Dire Hatred is both a tanking defense and a shooting defense because it ignores the massiveness rules).

Basically, he's requesting that he be allowed to ignore the rules (in his benefit), and threatening to quit if he doesn't get what he wants. Because apparently following the rules is something only munchkins would do.

The obvious counterpoint is that if you feel that the rules are a detriment to the game, you should request that they're removed, not try to get an exception for yourself alone .

Honestly, thats sorta the direction I've been thinking of as well, its been more munchkinny. I don't want to just leave it here unfinished (I've done that enough before) because maybe something will come up thats neat, but it certainly does seem to have leaned toward a faceoff between you two, and maybe eric, with cogginton in the background acting as archeologist & fight ignorer.

Did you actually read that? I'm not trying to get away with breaking the rules. Frankly, if it turns out I accidentally broke the rules...Well, I'm frankly not interested enough to go through the mountain of a character sheet and fix things.
