As in every horror story, the party splits and goes its separate ways. One group heads off toward Kyle's house, getting a fair distance. There seem to be, if anything, more people out then before. Children and adults in costume roam the streets like a horde of zombies, with the occasional SUV stopping in the middle of the street to let out an army of children to the unsuspecting houses. The group manages to not attract to much attention and sees nothing of notice.

The second group successfully arrives at the corner store, seeing as it isn't that far away from the labotohouse they might want to make whatever shopping they do there quick. Despite seeing the house from here, they notice nothing coming from it.

In the corner store, a set of bells rings as you enter. The elderly store clerk looks up from his phone and smiles at you, a bowl of candy next to the cash register.

Daniel speaks to the store clerk: Excuse me, do you happen to have a radio I could borrow for a couple minutes?

[Fniff]

Angelo pretends that this isn't freaking him out and keeps walking with Kyle, occasionally darting his eyes around when he thinks the terrible tricked treaters aren't looking at him. He also keeps close to Oswulf.

Kyle is still mighty angry and just keeps walking.

[Prophet]

Oswulf just keeps quiet while staying next to Angelo.

Alex patiently looks at Nali.

7:46:00

The store clerk replies to Daniel, "No son, afraid I don't. Not allowed to listen to music while workin, not much point in haven one. I am sure you kids can use your new-fangled I-cellphones to listen to your hippitty hop music. Wouldn't you like some candy instead?"

No, thank you. Say, you haven't happened to notice anyone acting strangely have you? Well, more strangely than people usually do on Halloween night.

[Stirk]

"Just a kid asknin me for a radio. Ill bet you know him, too. Not many people come in on the holidays."

(How far is Kyl's house from the hill?)

((I'd say a good distance away. He lives out in the boondocks. His parents arranged to pick him up somewhere though.))

In that case, Kyle and his party move on to the location Kyle is supposed to meet his parents, thus moving the plot along. His parents may or may not be there, he has a free card to control the situation (within limits) that I have no clue how it would play out. Hopefully he has an idea of his parents personalities.

Nope, his parents are bipolar and have multiple personalities besides that are rolled for on a d100 and a d59 respectively.
Kyle and the rest of the group only have to wait a little while before his parents show up in their van with his sister. Kyle's mother is a portly woman with pale skin and light red hair. She's currently wearing a pirate outfit with a wooden cutlass at her side. Kyle's father is very tall. He's muscled but not overly so, his skin is tan and his hair is black. He has a five o'clock shadow and his hair is in a short ponytail. He is wearing a pirate outfit as well, although his has the long leather boots and what appears to be an actual knife on his belt. Finally, Kyle's sister looks to be about a year younger then him with similar traits to him. She's dressed up as a pirate and is currently asleep. Kyle opens the door for the othes gesturing to the large back seat.
"Try to squeeze in back there... oh, uh, mom, dad, these are my friends. They need a place to stay tonight because their parents couldn't pick them up for various reasons."
Kyle's parents look over the group before sigh. They shrug before speaking.
"Alright. Do you kids want McDonalds on the way to our house?"
Kyle's mother looks in the mirror.

[Prophet]

N-no tha-thank you.

[Fniff]

"I'll pass, I'm not allowed from MacDonalds anymore."
