A radio is generally better than a TV if you're just looking for news, since there are quite a few dedicated news channels. How about this: myself and anyone who wants to will head to the corner shop and check the news. After that we can meet you and the others at Kyle's house. With this, Daniel stes off towards the store and checks his fake head, now named Yorick.
