[04 + 10 vs 10] "Oh... okay." He looks very doubtful, but doesn't seem to see through your disguise. "What were you doing here?" he asks. He seems to snap out of his thoughts. "Jenkins! Where is he? Where is he?! Did you see him?!"

He's not in here! Did you check the other rooms? What happened to our backup!?

[Tomasque]

[16 + 10 vs 72] "...backup? I'm the backup." He looks at you. "You! You're Jenkins!" he yells, and takes his baton out. Suddenly your ChronoMouse begins to beep. "Hey, stop that," says the guard. It beeps faster and faster.

The ChronoMouse's display is flashing with strange symbols. A few words also flash by, too fast to read. "Stop it! yells the guard, and you look up. You see all of the ChronoMouse dopplegangers are flashing, and their beeping fills the room. The guard swings at you with his baton. The baton swings down, and just as it is about hit you, all hell breaks loose. The world stretches, the beeping of the Chronomouse is now a long, loud whine.  There is a brilliant flash of bright light. [69] You grit your teeth, but you manage to stay conscious. Then the light is gone. You open your eyes, and you feel that you are laying on the cold, wet ground. When the world stops spinning, you see that you are in the middle of a huge crater.

What the hell happened

[Tomasque]

You look around. [71] You think you're still in the same dimension, judging from your surroundings. Also, you see that this crater is still surrounded by (what's left of) the buildings that surrounded the ARCHON facility. So you're basically in the same place. You still, however, have no idea what the heck hell just happened, though from the ringing in your ears - and the fact that you can't really hear anything except that, it must have been pretty damn loud.

The ChronoMouse's display is back to normal. Another update has begun, you notice, along with the completion of both the time travel cool down and the dimension travel cool down. Suddenly, a siren sounds at the top of the crater. Blue and red lights of a police car begin to flash and you hear a voice from a hand-held loudspeaker: "Put your hands on the back of your head! If you do not comply, you will be shot!"

[88 vs 23] You slap down on the button before you even hear the shot. Then you are transported.

 You appear to be in some sort of history museum. The skeleton of a mammoth is on display in front of you. You look around and find yourself face to face with a bearded man! [62] You stumble back, but you catch yourself. You realize that was just a wax statue of a caveman. You are standing in one of the exhibits. Luckily, there is no glass partition blocking of the exhibit.

if it's a museum, then there should be a map on a wall somewhere. Look for that

You get off the exhibit. You wander the entire museum, [13] but the place is like a maze to you. You haven't found a map at all, or a way out. Right now you seem to have trudged into the "Future?" section of the museum.
