You lash out at the guard with your knife, [78 - 20 vs 79] and as you do, he fires a shot, it whizzes past you once more. You bring your knife down, [08] but it misses him completely. [38] Suddenly you feel very sick. The smell of your blood and of the guard behind you makes you retch. You surge forward and empty the contents of last afternoon's lunch right in the guards face.  The guard drops his gun on the ground and vomits in a way that would humble a skunk. After he has successfully coughed up probably a days worth of food, he promptly feints. The other guard stands, stricken.

 ((I rolled a 01 on how well hed take getting vomited on in the face, kay? Dont blame me, blame the dice.))

Take the other gun and gun down the other guard

[Tomasque]

You walk over to the gun and pick it up,  as you do, your ribs flare up once more. [08] You scream in pain and collapse. Everything goes dark.

 ...And then you wake up. You look around hastily, but you're still in the storeroom. There is no blood or vomit on the floor, nor are there any guards here. You see that you also notice that your ribs are completely healed. The handcuff is still on your wrist.

You think for a minute, and then it comes to you. The feeling you had as your eyes closed... that was the same feeling you got when you time traveled. Is that really what happened? Than why are your wounds healed? Why do you not have the gun? Why are you in front of the elevators when you blacked it in front of the prototype holding room door? you check your ChronoMouse, but all it does is prove the impossible theory. The time travel cooldown is on, and it's set for 5 minutes. The dimension travel cooldown also seems to be a little bit off. It reads you have 16 minutes left when you swear it should be less. Your thoughts are interrupted as you hear the thud of the elevator you had entered from begin to rise.

You duck behind one of the shelves just as the doors open. [53 vs 75] A guard leaves the elevator. His eyes narrow. "Step out from behind the shelves," he says.

Step out....and throw my knife into his chest

[Tomasque]

You step out from your cover. "Jenkins!" he yells. As he reaches for his radio you throw the knife. [27] You miss him completely. He stands, startled with his radio still noise belt.

[85] You rush the guard, knocking him to the ground. His head smacks on the stone floor and he gives out a soft moan. His arms are pinned to the ground and his ribs are quite bruised, if not broken. The prototype room door opens slowly.

As you approach, the security guard steps out. "Put your hands on the back of your head," he says as he points his gun at you.

You jump at him, [48 vs 31] and stab him before he can react. [73] You strike him in the chest, and he falls to the ground, motionless. Youve been down here before, no one could have heard anything from down here. The air is still.
