1 means a 50% chance of -2 and 100% chance of -1
2 is a -1.
3 is a 50% chance of -1
4 is no bonus or negative.
5 is a 50% chance of +1
6 is a +1
7 is a +1 with 50% chance of +2
8 is +2
And so on.

Strength is used for lifting things, moving things, and physical attack rolls/dodge rolls.

Agility is used for Escaping enemies, using ranged physical weaponry, dodging ranged physical attacks, and general acrobatics. So Jumping, swinging, being assassin-y.

Intelligence is used for operating electronics/machinery, figuring out weapons not normally in the character's knowledge, and dodging/using science-based attacks.

Moxie is your charisma/coolness factor. This is used for interactions with NPCs if there are any, and generally being the suavest person in the room. It also helps with magic attacks, both dodging and using.

Toughness is a bit different. For every 4 points in Toughness, you gain an extra life. When you WOULD be killed by an attack, you'll automatically use the toughness life, lose an ability or get a general disadvantage, and continue fighting. Since the max for Toughness is 8, the most extra lives you can have is 2. If you kill someone who has remaining Toughness lives, you get only 1/2 KP instead of 1. Lastly, these toughness points do indeed come back after each ACTUAL death. However, with each respawn, you lose one of the points. SO, if you have 8, and you die, you respawn with 7. You'll still have the two lives, but once you hit 4, you'll have 1, and hitting 0 just makes it so you don't have 'em.

Starting Equipment/Inventory: Medium-length katana with amethyst-colored engravings on the blade and an amethyst gem on both sides of the handle. Yes, we're getting fabulous with our swords here.

Special Skills: Time-stop: It's just as it sounds. Artemis essentially can stop the flow of time for a few short moments in order to dodge an attack, or set up an ambush. The time-stop lasts only for a short length of time and has a long cooldown to activate again. However, it is, of course, extremely handy when activated.

Hybrid form: Artemis can draw on his powers to create crystalized, amethyst-colored, fragmented wings on his back, which help to channel his energy and give him boosts to his agility. He cannot fly with these wings, however, as they are simply made of energy and not really of the physical realm. After the hybrid form wears off, he loses his ability to time-stop for a while until both the Hybrid form and time-stop draw enough energy again.

Description (Backstory/Personality): There is enough backstory to Artemis' name to write an entire saga, solely based on his own journey. This is not even counting the adventures of his various friends, including his alter-ego from another universe. Still, we can say that Artemis is a different type of human, who is associated with the ethereal realms. He knows secrets about the different dimensions that other humans need not dare to dream about. His knowledge of the various dimensions that encompass the multiverses allows him to access these realms and draw power from them, energizing him and giving him the ability to defeat his opponents with superior agility and reflexes.

Despite his expansive knowledge of the unknown, he still takes on the traits of the broken-minded teenager that he is. He is cocky and pretentious, believing that his knowledge puts him above others (an unfortunate trait that his alter-ego also shares with him, to a certain degree) and allows him to defeat any opponent. While his knowledge grants him unimaginable power, he is still faulty in his emotions and makes stupid mistakes when giving in to his anger and rage. His instability, however, is one of the things that gives him his immense power; Thus far, he has been extremely lucky in vanquishing his opponents and coming closer to his original goal.

Abilities
 The Claw of Justice - After killing some undoubtedly criminal individual, Lobster Johnson often burns a symbol into their forehead with the brand embedded in his glove. Some might call it pointless, needlessly violent or disrespectful to the dead, but it's certainly good for morale. [Lobster Johnson gets a random buff for one of his stats after killing someone, the strength and length of this buff are up to the GM, of course.]
 Marksman - Lobster Johnson's extremely skilled with his pistols, getting a bonus to using those two in particular and a lesser bonus to other guns.

Description - A lobster-themed brawler from the forties, known by a variety of names and descriptions, some more accurate than others. Many knew him best as the protagonist in countless cheesy pulp novels, though his actual adventures were just as ridiculous, often involving nazis and the occult. Probably shouldn't currently be living, but oh well.

Mac-10 - Machine pistol, high-rate automatic fire.

Special Skills:
Rap Manifestation: Tupac uses rap to manifest his soul into tangible forces. He is able to use magic in accordance with his skill and Moxie.
Last Motherfucker Breathin': Pac makes a promise to be the last one standing. As a result, he gains a bonus to Executing enemies who are badly wounded or incapacitated, with the bonus increasing exponentially the worse shape his target is in.
Notorious: Big Poppa is a terrifying huge man who would eat anyone and then sodomize their respective family. Tupac is weak to Biggie Smalls if he appears for some reason.

Description: California based gangsta' rapper from the 90's. Explained thug life and popularized the phrase "Fuck the World." Gunned down at the height of his career. He then had a short-lived stint as a holograph before joining the arena.

Greenstarfanatic, I'll let you determine the bonuses for Last Motherfucker Breathin' to prevent it from being overpowered, and whether it should be a static, constant bonus or vary based on the situation.

Ooooooooh shit people.

Artemis is good, Elephant is good, both of 'em, but those skills for Spooky Elephant should be blue, not green, and both need a cooldown time, Balrog's gonna be an interesting one, and is fine.

However, -.- can't be used in her current state. In fact, that 14-point, +5 bonus is what made me nerf the stats. So you'll have to change that a bit, Lenglon.

The Lobster is good, the Marksman bonuses can be +2 and +1 respectively, and the kill buff thing will activate only if you remember to brand them, which may take an extra action depending on where the body is. If you melee killed them, it's fine, it's free, but if you shot them from across the map, you may have to take an action to run around and brand them.

Tupac's damn fine, and I'll determine the bonuses as I see fit.

The KOH...ooooooh that's a neat ability. You're in. Just...colour the skills and add one more point to your stats, you only put 24.

Caiman seems just fine.
