Elaborate.
Later.

Shakerag: Not really.  My mandate does not prohibit directly posting pictures.  Also, why the late-day 4mask "the Shakerag" vote?
Because I just got around to processing the whole thread.

Good job, Mastahcheese.  You successfully rattled me.  My jimmies are thoroughly rustled.

Jack:
Toaster: Under what circumstances do you consider pure information-gathering daykills a good idea?

These, of course.

A more serious answer is very rarely, and this wasn't a pure information daykill.  Like I said, Cheeetar has stated that he's not town (and claims to not even know what his wincon is.)  How can his scum hunting be effective?  He doesn't want to screw himself.

Cheeetar:
Everyone: Actions are public- nobles would have to out themselves to appoint a new hammerer. Either they act in an anti-town fashion (not letting us lynch) or they reveal their presence. Which is preferable?

Why is royalty outing themselves a bad thing?

Why is royalty outing themselves a bad thing?

It attracts scumkills.

Why do we want to kill royalty instead of any other random non-scum?

You, me, anyone.  Why is royalty more of a target than any other role?  I can't kill anyone anymore.

I don't see much reason for royalty to be more of a target (having some theme-tied, probably temporary bonus thing doesn't seem like much in a bastardy BYOR), but that's not my point.

You responded to this (bolding mine)...
Why is royalty outing themselves a bad thing?

... with this (bolding also mine):
Why do we want to kill royalty instead of any other random non-scum?
A slip, or just bad writing?  I don't know yet, but you've certainly caught my attention.

Toaster, I believe royalty outing themself is a bad thing because they're less likely to be mafia. I believe they're less likely to be mafia because they were essentially a lesser version of the kingmaker for day 1.

Christmas is coming 24 hours early.
There was a small problem with one of the gifts.
I'll let Jim say why. I know he didn't request one.

It wasn't a very strong case; it was there so that I could find out if you really were using silly logic (which would cause a vote) or did have good reasons for voting.

I don't really believe you but whatever.

HUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUE

Whatever, dude. I don't have to play your games.

Nobody's immune to lynching.

HUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUE

Ugh.

All the crap mastah is spewing makes it seem like he is not scum. What kind of scum draws so much attention to himself? It seems to me he is a third-party, and a more harmless one, because if he was one that town wanted to kill, well then he'd just silently kill at night.

Is mastahcheese your scumbuddy? Is this why you're making these asinine arguments in his favor?

Get real. Threatening the people voting you is not a town thing to do. Ever.

PPE: Okay, so you're voting him now. Why were you making all these asinine arguments in his favor beforehand?

I gave Jim the hammer because I can't appoint myself as hammerer, Jim's not a major target of suspicion (and thus safeish to give immunity to for today), and I can't see him overriding the lynch.

Given the option, I will always choose the silver hammer, because I'm bloodthirsty like that. The silver one is the one that kills, right?

Considering that I'm the new Hammerer I should probably get a PM or something like that that might indicate what options I now have.

Also, as hammerer, I demand a golden cabinet in my room.

Shakerag is not, in fact, indicative of anti-town, because my main role has the words "the Shakerag" in it and is town. No, I can't prove I'm town short of inspects, I get it. I'll post more once I take the dog out.

4maskwolf

Works for me.

Is the only reason you're voting for him because he's claimed to be a Shakerag? Perhaps even The Shakerag?

As sooon as TolyK gets that PM.
Yeah, it's mysterious, but let's just say that a gift intended for someone else is going to you, Jim.
The other one is going to the right person.
And I randomly assigned something to someone else and wound up sending something else to Jim.

Interesting. Didn't you imply that you couldn't give gifts until tonight?
