The woman gives Corrie a disenchanted look of confusion. Up close, you can tell that she's a tan-skinned middle aged woman of sharp eyes and pointed features. Her mouth is a missing a tooth or two.

"You... You're not from here are ya?"

Corrie shrugs and takes on an apologetic expression.
"Ah... no I'm not, I'm afraid! Sorry if it's a bother."

"No-no... This just isn't always a very nice area to be walking around in alone, tha's all.

As soon as she's done scaling her current, she turns to wash her hand in a basin and continues talking.

"I can sell you fish that'll feed about one person each for about 100 Poke a piece. Sound reasonable dear?"

Meanwhile, back at base camp alpha... Very little camp work had been done. Johan had successfully burnt down a little bit of the nearby tall grass through errant grass fire and was continuing to search for more foliage. Mirage scooted around trying to bat the errant embers out of the sky; more for his own entertainment than a misplaced desire for fire safety. Kolya in the meantime continues staring at Thomas. Or at least appearing to stare at Thomas. This was typically the case of Kolya being annoyed unfortunately.

However, the sun was just beginning to fall a little ways. There was still time left in the day, but there would need to be some preparations made now about shelter for the night.

Leaf smiled slightly as he watched Mirage play with the embers, he put down the pile of wood he was carrying and watched her. He did this for a while but eventually climbed to his feet again and continued to help prepare the camp.

"Ah, yeah... I think I'll be fine, but thanks for telling me. And, uh, hmm... yeah, sure thing! I'd like to buy... five of them."

The fishlady nodded in her vague way and served up five plain and white fish fillets in a plastic bag.

"Just stay near the big ol paths, don't be wanderin round at night, and walk with your friend. Ya should be fine then round this hour as long as ya hurry on back."

It took thomas all but a moment to realise something condemningly horrible.

"...Why are you all trying to set up camp when we don't even have a tent?"

Lina comes back to the main group with her pokemon in tow, looking in satisfaction at the spot before replying to Thomas.

"Well obviously we won't be sleeping here, it's just a spot to have our supper before we move onto the lake! Well, not that I would mind sleeping outside, but I don't really have much experience in that. I would expect it can't be that hard to find a hostel or something in town when night falls! If you wanta be a guide type person and find or make some accommodations that would be fine with me."

"Thank youuu!"
Corrie takes her advice and heads back... to... ...out of the docks.

"I'm fairly comfortable sleeping without a tent, I've done so quite often. As for the town... I'd guess that getting a tent and just setting it up here would be the better option. Cheaper overall too, given that not all the islands have a town near anything interesting.

Corrie takes her advice and heads back... to... ...out of the docks.

It's still light out enough. You end up on the receiving end of a few funny looks, but thankfully no one tries to bother you. You find yourself in the market square. From here you imagine that you could back to the camp easy enough without any issues.

Just to your right, a large building that seems to have been made out of the left over remains of a ship looms. A sign stands out front slathered with crude red paint proclaiming it as the "Rook's Nest".

Walking into the camp, Corrie finds a spot and immediately unfolds the cooking kit across her back, putting the fish, rice, sugar, and banana extract in careful spots.
"Hey guys! I bought ingredients (no change, sorry!) and we're actually going to be having some Hoenn cuisine since it fits the geography here! Sliced fish and rice, with banana glaze if you're feeling for something sweet or feeling adventurous. It'll take me... 45 minutes to finish?" Corrie grins, now clearly in her element.
Use all that food I bought and create the Hearty Meal recipe for each trainer! (They aren't the exact ingredients, but same money value...)

Corrie was indeed in her element. With a little assistance from Johan, a good campfire was cooked up. Utilizing a small pan found in the cooking kit, Corrie broiled the fish over an open fire. The luscious smell of cooked fish enveloped the air. Adding on the Nanab extract served to sweeten the broiled fish quite nicely and a thin caramelized layer of sugar formed.

After about an hour of cooking, the meals were finished!

Corrie creates 5 special Sweet Hearty Meals! Due to the ingredients used, eating a meal will also add +2 to Initiative for the next Scene! In addition, since this is her first meal on the Muse Islands, Corrie gets one TEXP!
