Runden scowls at Ebene and Rat for a couple moments, but after some more radio chatter eventually she relents. She sighs and grumbles, "Alright, fine. Hand over your equipment, I'll take them back to HQ and meet up with you later. We're only having a few drinks though, nothing more." Ebene grins, and quickly removes her backpack and launchers to give to Runden.

"Thanks Runde~" she says teasingly, and dodge Runden's slap in response.

With a huff she says, "It's Runden, not Runde!" and then turns around to leave before Ebene can make further inappropriate comments. As such her partner just grins and stretches her back while she lets Rat lead the way.

Rat chuckles and leads the way.
"So, I heard that someone broke a Mr. Hoxworth out of transport on his way back to prison. Got any idea who's ass was in the fire for letting that happen?"

Ebene shrugs, "Eh, who knows? It's not something I've heard through the grapevine yet. Whoever it is, I wouldn't want to be them right now. They'll be lucky if they keep their old job. Chances are they'll be shuffled around to someplace less important." She waves lazily, "Do we have to talk about work though? I get enough of an earful from Runden about it, I don't really feel like chatting on about it on break."

Ebene is grinning again. "That's no problem. You should listen to Runden complain about how much I eat sometime. Unless they scrape it off the floor I'll won't mind."
