"In the mountains... Wow."

"Whazit?" she looks at it and him suspiciously.

"No, silly, on a floating island."
"It's medicine that fixes whatever's rendered you drunk. It has a strong kick, but it does the job quickly."

"Oh.
Even better - every room is a room with a view!"

Now thoroughly drunk, Pendle appears to have thrown all common sense to the wind, and is now drinking himself into a stupor while drunkenly slurring magic theory at any and all extremely unwilling passersby. On several occasions, he tries to demonstrate some fairly volatile spells, before the barkeep decides to just confiscate the pen he's using.
