You outta visit the office around 2am and hear some of the things we come up with.  Somebody was going outside for a cigarette and just kind of wrote it on a scrap of paper and left it on the pizza box.  From there it ended up in the GDD as a "maybe".  And now it's a thing.

Alright though, I get you. More economics simulation can't be a bad thing (in the context of a management game like this anyway).

Hey, am I right in thinking that there we be no actual porn in this game? Bit, or otherwise?
I think a lot of people will confuse this game with a Hentai title, while It's closer to Lionheads the Movies, with the actual films cut out, and with a porn skin on top.

We wanted to do something in the vein of The Movies but with more options to expand into other areas like call centers, toys and clubs.  The movies is also rendered in 3D which differs hugely from Triple X Tycoon. I remember wanting to do a 3D game but we just couldn't dump those kind of resources into the project. And we avoid Kickstarter like The Plague.  Besides, we would have just been in the market with every other 3D sex sim. We're focusing on the business of it, not the sex. But We'll have some nudity, nobody is asking for it but we think the silence means people kind of want it. Maybe we'll do a poll on the site, settle this the (anonymous)civilized way.

Personally I'd rather there not really be anything sexual. Well obviously not exactly like that, since it's a game about making porn. But nothing that is created with the intent of being pornographic to the player.

As well with not seeing any of the porn in the game allows the comedy to come in a bit stronger anyhow. Leaving a lot to the imagination with clever puns and terrible pick up lines. Include odd headshots of actors and actresses and just allow people to wonder how it works. Though I have no idea how effectively someone can pull off that joke.

If the game does end up going "you see porn" then this topic should probably close. I was fine with this as long as it wasn't... explicit.
