Spoiler: Day 14 takes another somber turn (click to show/hide)

Here we have Burnt Pies finishing up her latest book, "Use the Suit to Recruit". It's a hit book, although not a bestseller, and will bring in a whopping $902/week. Remember that BP only needs $4k/week to graduate the Haus, and she's already almost 3/4 the way there! You go, girl!

Yoink is making preparations for the funeral. As his best friend, I've left all of the inviting up to him.

Yoink went out to get the mail, which included a love letter and a gift for Barbarossa. Well, that's not heart wrenching at all.

The guests start to arrive. Despite Yoink stating explicitly that it's formal attire only, he has not changed, and is instead watching tv.

Kal begins a sculpture in Barbarossa's memory.

Sappho can rock a purple dress. Also, she's the only one dressed up so far, aside from the guests. Note: I didn't pick out anyone's formal-wear but my own and Wolfeyez'.

RedKing gets to work making food for all the guests.

Burnt Pies is now dressed up and comes out to meet with the guests.

Yoink doesn't know how to match shoes with a suit, and scrdest is fancy as all fuck.

RedKing's formal is...less so.

I set about inviting people into the Haus and showing them around. Turns out, everyone that Barbarossa knew (except serial killer guy) was female, and predominantly blonde. Go figure.

Kal makes good progress on the statue.

Wolfeyez helps me wrangle the guests.

Kal is too tired to continue sculpting, but puts on a tux anyway.

Vector is eyeing a plate of firecracker tofu-shrimp.

Pictured: A shitload of people in the Haus right now. Vector will have nothing to say to any of them before waffles.

Sappho heads to the other room to escape the noise.

Burnt Pies replicated a lasagna to go with the waffles. I didn't know that was a thing.

scrdest takes "eating alone" to a whole new level.

Live entertainment is essential for a proper funeral.

To escape the crowd (thanks, guys,) Wolfeyez, Vector, Sappho, and Yoink all head out into the garden.

Japa is awake, and the waffles are calling him with their siren syrup.

This lady (Iris Ingberg,) walks through the field of seeds that we somehow have in the backyard.

She's the one who sent Barbarossa the letter and gift. Who put these onions in here!?

Dishes are easy when the machine does literally all of the work. I still thank Japa for helping out.

RedKing somehow wound up in his work uniform in a bar down the street despite calling in for family related matters.

As soon as he gets back home, he's invited to a party. Weird. Speaking of parties, Yoink's party rating was pretty good. It wasn't "OMFGSuperEpic", but it was a good time for everyone but Barbarossa, who couldn't care less at the moment.

Vector questions RedKing on where he's going. Tensions are running high, guys, but chill.

The look on Vector's face says one thing, but her hands say another.

You're supposed to look down out of respect. Quit being dicks, both of you.

I didn't teach her windmill-fu, I swear.

I also need to teach RedKing how to throw a proper kick. Yeesh.

Getting better, must be warmed up.

So...much...whiffing! This is going to go on for a while if neither one of them can connect.

Meanwhile, Japa is inspired.

Sappho thinks the tussle out front looks fun, so I begin teaching her the art of bootkick.

Kal's statue is finished. We already have one of those in the garden, but that's not the point.

That's the point.

RedKing and Vector's funtime rumble ended without even any bruises, even to pride. He heads off down the street and winds up here.

Grim has no ears to plead to, and refuses to play chess with Yoink again. None of the rest of us have logic points, so we can't play him either. There's nothing we can do. I'm so sorry, BP.

RedKing, of course, missed the whole thing, and is having a lovely time at the most boring party ever.

One of his coworkers was the one who invited him, so he decides to chat her up. She's also married, and I missed getting a picture of her husband walking in on him flirting with her and getting all pissed at RK. RK promptly called the party over.

Yoink is going to defeat that son of a bitch yet.

Vector will help. Let the grinding commence!

Japa has a dream that one day the person who creates the dirty dishes will clean those same dishes.

scrdest dreams of food. Probably fancy food.

Sappho mourns our dearly departed Burnt Pies. There's a jellybean on her tombstone.

RedKing needs to eat after a long day of heartbreak.

Perhaps I'm starting to lose it myself.

Sappho starts a new statue made of stone.

RedKing still has trouble with the elevators.

scrdest goes to the library and pokes their fire.

Apparently, his butt was cold.

Since there's no one at the library to shush, and he'd get kicked out of the grocery store for making out with random people, he'll play outside the store for tips.

Vector starts a painting. That appears to be the jellybean bush.

Wolfeyez and RedKing watch the cooking channel. They both learn some recipes.

Yoink is still at chess. He hasn't slept.

Neither has Sappho, but she's winding down. Kal starts a new sculpture.

That was fast! Also, it's a fish made of ice. It's worth a couple hundred simoleons.

Now, another statue.

There's been a lot of issues with the showers.

The clock in the painting is somewhat disconcerting for some reason. Stupid mortality.

Yoink, what are you doing?

scrdest has earned no tips, and some funny looks. Busking is apparently not popular in this town.

I approve of the trunks, mate. Seriously, you should always wear them into the pool.

scrdest is home! Also...we have more than $50k in the bank! Wait, so that means...

Yup! scrdest's Lifetime Wish has been fulfilled! He's survived graduated the Haus! I can no longer control him. He's a free man.

He promptly moves into a house right down the street from us, gets a job with Barbarossa's old company, and hooks up with one of the blondes from the funeral. Not even joking a little bit. Anyway, he's just down the street if any of you want to pop in for a visit.

Vector eats alone. It is a good time to be alone.

Kal begins a painting. Did not finish the sculpture. It's still just sitting there, waiting to be worked on.

Yoink enjoys the hot tub.

Japa gets back to work on creating stuff, and hopefully not setting himself on fire.

Yoink still hasn't slept. He's now working with volatile chemicals.

I get a call from a celebrity agent telling me to work out for some fame. Treadmill, here I come! (Sappho got the same call, but has been sculpting instead.)

Vector goes out to the garden one last time tonight.

That didn't end well, but it could have ended worse. Go sleep, Yoink.

Kal eats a piece of lasagna. The last thing BP ever made.

Yoink helps take care of the dishes, because fuck sleep.

Vector went and picked up all of those seeds, and found a few more, too.

She identifies all of her seeds! There are some really, really special ones in there.

Japa made a duck that can magnetically levitate.

The garden's been pulled away from the fence, and organized. Vector is finishing up planting her super special super secret plants.

Don't feel bad, RedKing. You're not the only one having issues.

You'd think I'd be better at that.

Doing some late night cleaning while everyone else goes to bed.
