Just one question: are there passable longcoats in this game?
Sort of, but you have to hunt for custom (fan created) content.

-tai chi if available
Unfortunately, the only martial art is "sim fu". You can work on the training dummy, spar with me, and I can teach you to break boards. That said, once you hit level 5, you can meditate.

That, or use the Store, which is the same but paid. But I got a bunch with the starter pack and used ALL the credits on longcoats :D

They are pretty nice, though. There's a military-style single-breasted greatcoat, an oldschool Inverness cape kinda thing, some businessy ones...

You should totally do this, and then the two of you enter the Law Enforcement career track.

Alright, might apply if any longcoats are available.

Ah, okay. I saw tai chi on the list you linked to, but if it's not there, then no probs. In that case, replace that one with sculpting, but if there's even the slightest impediment to me getting anything done, default to video games.

Yeah, unfortunately Tai Chi was part of The Sims 2 expansion Bon Voyage and it didn't make a comeback for TS3.

If I have the skill for it, tinker with something besides the workbench.

Like the stove, or TV.

No way that can go wrong.

Day 3 is live, all! Lots of stuff to go through, here, so get reading!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Question for all of my Hausmates: I've been doing my best to keep flirting and other weirdness to a minimum. I've also ensured that you're dressed before I take pictures. Should I continue doing so?

It's not a chair! It's a life-sized *statue* of a chair!

I'll probably need to make another pedestal to put it on afterwards...

I appreciate the flirt-avoidance, though I don't much care if my sim is fully clothed or not.

For the next day, I will try to:
-finish that chair statue!
-learn to cook something tasty

Hmm. Definitely interested in being put on the waitlist.

I'm going for the physical description, definitely, because I don't really have a photo up.

1: Tall-ish, lanky, gaunt face, green-ish eyes, dark brown hair
2: Night Owl, Natural Cook, Neurotic, Couch Potato, Absent-Minded
3: Professional Author
4: Irish Green, Cheesesteak, Geek Rock
5: Leo
6: Reading
7: Writing

Also, PTW, but that's obvious. :v

I don't mind either way. If others are uncomfortable with it then keep on keepin' it down, but I'm fine with weirdness and nudity.

New goals:
1. Travel far (Perhaps not so far as a star, but further than the lawn.)
2. Sing along to a song

But...but...I'm flirty! It's one of my traits! And hell, it's not like it's been that effective.

New actions:
1. MOAR COOK
2. Compliment my housemates (hey, gotta figure out some way to get a Writ of Good Behavior).

I'd prefer no nudity, but I'm fine with flirting.

Actions:
1. Vidja Games!
2. A spot of writing

Not nudity, but you, Vector and Sappho have a propensity for walking around in your underwear.

Yes, that's true. Although my real-life underwear is probably considerably less titillating than whatever my sim is wearing.
