Feckle calls Dimble, mounts up, and gets ready to leave with the party.

[5] The ever marching encroach of autumn doesn't slow your travel. Your task accomplished you begin heading north towards the nearest bridge to finish your quest to get paid. Despite the cold travelling conditions there aren't any issues the first day. You estimate that you are about halfway there. [+1 Health]

[90] The second day is only slightly warmer than the last. A slight rain negates any warmth you derived from the sun. It is roughly ten miles from Riverwatch when a small group of three ambushes you from hiding. A second later two more men step from behind a pair of trees. The original three are carrying a quarterstaff, a scyth, and a sickle. The two latecomers are both carrying bows. The man with the scythe speaks first. His voice is attractive, all things considered and appears that he was raised among dwarves.

"Well now, travelers boys! I 'ear it's a might dang'rous on these 'ere roads. Sure would be a shame if you were to be attacked wouldn't it?"

The archers draw knock arrows.

"Luckily yer smart eh? Ye know all about roads. Especially the tax. Aye, the tax. It's unfortunate is it not? But five gold a 'ead fer safety? Well that's just the way o' it eh? After all, can't be too careful in these times. So what's say ye 'and over the gold and we'll be sure to let ya on yer way eh?"

Feckle casts Ghost Sound approaching behind the rearmost enemy, in the voice of shouting humans:

"Surrender in the name of Riverwatch, perverted fiends!"

Whether this works or not, shoot - at the leader who spoke to us, unless I can obviously identity one as a caster, in which case shoot it instead. Dimble will delay his turn and full attack anyone who reaches me. Next action will be to five foot step back and shoot the same person if not dead.

The flurry of activity seemed to surprise the bandits as a few turned to face the sound, only the leader and archers stayed facing the group. But even they were surprised by what happened next.

Sharos leaps into the air, wings fanning out as he nocks an arrow, a slight sneer on his face.

Flyby Attack: 10' straight up. Fire at Leader. Move North then North-west to E2, hiding along the way at H5.

Devon waves her arms briefly as a decrepit skeleton claws its way out of the ground.
[17+7] Feckle looses an arrow that punctures the Leader's arm. [-2/-1]
Dimble delays his action.

Stab Archer or Bowman with Sapphire Nightmare Blade, whichever one's further from the melee guys.

Taking more care with the next shot, Sharos continues to move.

Flyby Attack: E2 -> B3; fire at Quarterstaff from D3, re-hide at B3.

Repeat shot at leader; repeat Dimble's delayed melee.
