Venena who quickly got up and prepared herself a bit looked out to the others,
"It's either we wait out here and the building might burn down, if it's raiders or some sort of military. Or we go out there to see what in the Seven Hells is going on."

"...too damned early for this," Sharos mutters.

Take a peek out of the front door.

What you see is what can only be described as war. The entire city appeared to be aflame. Dead bodies were being gnawed upon by zombies until they, too, rose to join the Undead Hordes. Luckily their destruction seems random. A small brigade of skeletons marched down the street with their spears held high bearing a strange flag with the symbol of Mortis upon it though it seems slightly strange. Unfortunately you can't make heads or tails of the matter and figure it might be best to hide inside until you have a plan. Though as soon as you shut the door and step away from it a blood covered man in a rather elaborate cloak seems to have figured the same idea as he ducks inside. He seems rather strange with his silvery hair. You've not seen that before.

The man catches his breath for a moment.

"Bloody hell... zombies everywhere. Never seen anything like it."

He then looks at the ashen-skinned man before him.

"Oh! Hi. Thanks for saving my life, I was sure that blonde one was going to get me. I'm Robin, and you are...?

"...Sharos," the half-fey answers, pausing to think for a moment, "And I believe my initial impression that this could wait until after we break fast was correct, yes?" he asks the rest of the group.

"Oh. I'd forgotten for a moment that none of you can fly away. That puts things in a rather different light. Thoughts?"

"Hmm, we could grab a morsel and brave the dead? Sneak around the areas that their too busy burning, killing, and generally causing mishap. Just an idea, though those skeletons could be a problem..."

"After we grab a bite, we can always wait for the destruction to calm down a bit and try to leave. Or I can summon one or two skeletons myself and tell them I'm a servant of Mortis. They might listen to me and leave us alone." Devon says as she goes in search for food.

You find several loaves of bread and some nice bits of cheese. You also find some not quite as nice bits of cheese but you're fairly certain that the Inn keeper, who seems to have lost his head at some point, wouldn't mind if you reached for the nice stuff.

Sharos joins Devon in her quest for cheese, peering over her shoulder.

"That's just a tad risky, I'd say. But it's not my wings on the line, so you can do as you please," he concludes, snatching up a small loaf and leaving a small silver coin in its place. Tearing a chunk of the bread free, he mumbles as he chews, "Bfizes, I fink weuh gonna en up fightahn regfadlez."

Devon shrugs as she helps herself to a couple pieces of nice cheese. "It could be useful if we get in a fight at the very least."

Venena walks over grabbing a few mouth-fulls of bread and cheese and chews down on it before saying,
"I suppose we could try to trick em', but for all we know they could catch onto us."

"The whole town is undead and you people are trying to decide what to eat for breakfast?!"

"I like you guys."

"A man's got to have his priorities straight, you know," Sharos chuckles.

"So what are we doing?" Feckle asked.
