"Why would I be carrying sacred Alkmaary religious texts on me?" Eastley seems legitimately confused at the prospect "I don't have any proof... But you need to believe me. The fate of an entire race depends on it. Maybe even two races if what the rumors say is true."

"I know a fair bit of general religion, texts, and gods. I think I might be able to learn a thing or two about it."

"I'm afraid I can't hand it to you. You're just not trustworthy enough. You said yourself that you're under contract."[/color]

"So are you, theoretically we can trust each other, correct?"

"Oathbreaker," Sharos utters solemnly. "I like you quite a bit more now, I think. Make me a counteroffer and mayhap I'll aid your efforts, Eastley.

"That settles it, Eastley, stand down and give us the rod and nobody will be hurt."

With a heavy sigh Eastley moved towards the edge of the cliff "Do you see all of this? The Undead Hordes would destroy all of this if it meant the death of a single dwarf... They would destroy entire civilizations... They would destroy my family." Turning towards the group with a cocky smile that hinted what would happen just a second before it did "Not if I can help it." and with that he jumped off the cliff with rod in hand.

Bursting into motion, Sharos sprints off the cliff after Eastley, spreading his wings as he leaps.

Try to catch that masked man!

[60] Your wings allow you to barely catch up with Eastley. Roughly fifty feet above the ground in fact. It's right about then that you realize just how heavy Eastley is and, despite your best efforts, you plummet with him.

After several minutes, Sharos appears from the hazy forest at the foot of the cliff, flying upward. He is scratched and beginning to bruise slightly.

"Now then, I have good news, bad news, more good news, and more bad news, topped off by very good news. Shall we have it in order, then?"
