Subterranean Civ Balancing

HeyHo, Im currently dinking around with subterranean critters, and other 'minor civ' species.  Merpeople, bat men, reptile men, gnomes, gremlins n' grimlins, etc.

I made an 'advanced subterranean civ' with batmen, serpentmen, and reptilemen as its comprisers, removing them from the traditional animal people civs.  I want to know if anyone has any cool ideas for them.  Serpent venom may be OP, for instance.  Reptile men were already given a higher recuperation, as well.

I would like for them to even go as far as sieging, but would like to first see if they will conduct 'local banditry' despite having no proper sites.  I did get them to make gods and they should come with some fun weapons too.  I made a 'short spear' for the smaller animal men, increased their ages and even made a few bigger.
