"I never said the blood had to be fresh. it's purpose isn't nutrients, but rather a high concentration of magic. They don't call it lifeblood for nothing. But there are necromantic studies on the difference between fresh blood and old blood on a zombies power. either way, even with old blood they will be -at least- twice as strong if fed that way."

Oh, so that certainly helps.
Right, so we would just make a cage for the guy then extract blood to place inside a container embedded into a zombie that drip feeds it blood every so often?

"Yup, that sums it up nicely, Now I just need to figure out the best kind of container. the common one is simply mutated blood in the form of a bubble on the zombies body, But those are used for Manual labor mainly, since anything from gunfire to sword attacks could break one with a good deal of effort."

Well, if we found some metal and melted it then used the changing sigil on it to make a container we could make a combat blood zombie, but I think a nice and strong manual labour zombie would be good.

> Merge a bandit zombie with a wolf zombie, basically putting the arms and torso in between the head and the body removing only the neck from the wolf. Take a bunch of the liquid bone and shape it into armor plates and reinforcements connecting to the existing skeletal structure. Mutate to integrate and reinforce.

What if we had two merged zombis, all systems existing in paralell using two corpses that normaly is like a flesh-fed zombi carying around a corpse, but integrates the magic enough to start up when the blood supply is turned on giving the combined strength instead?

We have plenty of time with the books.
Plus, I don't want Shadenight to cry from the exploits.

Let's put him on the cart for now. If anything we'll just tell a zombie to eat him if need be. Let's go check out this town.

How can we control more zombies?

((Oh I had been steeling my nerves for the insatiable hunger for science that Armok has. so I designed some safeguards against the horror. such as labor, learning and magic all being Hard to get resources. No offence Armok.))

"First off, Hi and welcome, Second off, Store blood in what? Third off, what Books could i copy them to? Fourth, Bandit wolf zombie chimera? I like your style, Fifth, I can switch them between feeding methods easy, but how could I make the blood flow turn on and off? Otherwise it would be like feeding two zombies at once. that last one would work, But would literally be feeding two zombies at once. unless i had a smart zombie running the blood feed, which requires it being magically fed."

You cast Golem Core On a purple crystal, Transforming it into the Heart, soul, and mind of a potential golem. Given the size and quality of the purple crystal, and the amount of magic used in the core, you would say this core could run a golem about as large as your head. -3 Mana.

You merge The red bandit and the Red wolf together using Heavy mutation. but only manage to make 2 bone plates before you are completely exhausted. -3 Mana. -1 Elbow Grease.

you throw the unconscious Bandit onto the Cart

"The way I figure it, I would be able to control more zombies if they were in nice little groups, the more individuals I have to control, the harder it gets."

Actually, take the tent down then lay the cloth onto the sand, then get some blood from our cattle (Now named the faceless one) to make a changing sigil on it.
Then attempt to mould the bone into a general humanoid sh...
Aww man, you wasted so much manna!
Edit: Ah, let's also get those two flesh fed zombies into a group.

You Place the Two Zombies you had from the start into their own group. Then travel to the town.

You come across an amazing oasis on the way, Overflowing with lush and exotic plants. Just ahead you see a magnificent pool of sparkling clear water.

you also grab the tarp for later.

Okay, what roll did you get when going for the plant fight?
Get the skeletons to check for fruits of the plants.

Hey, Can't you just reanimate the bone marrow so that it produces its own blood? or is that not possible?

I remember that it isn't the nutrients, it's the magic existing in the blood, hence 'lifeblood'.
If you reanimated the bones to produce blood with magic in it it's just needlessly complex magic zombies then.

((Oh my rolls weren't off.))

"Well by definition, all zombies are magical, it is just that some absorb different kinds of magic, like I said before, the difference between magic found in your muscles, bones, blood or organs is staggering. It is like the difference between a fireball and a polymorph spell. A creative mind can figure out how to use one as the other, but they are still vastly different.

Your skeletons go into the oasis, Finding strange plants and water that is an almost milky color, glittering like fine pearls.

Among the plants of all kinds, they also see a giant claw, that looks very similar to that of a preying mantis, it is connected to a tiny speck of green on the far end of the oasis waters.
