((Players in DR's Multiplayer Kept dropping dead, so I assumed that It wasn't worth continuing considering Darkness Redeemed's Low popularity in the first place. I might start it under some new Rules one day, but right now I don't really like the idea of fogging up the board with more of this.))
The Humstone really is fountaining an endless amount. Although, a similar effect could be done with a rabbit and some platinum, This endless electricity is definitely a bonus to it's other incredible abilities.
With it's incredibly small size, it could be used to power some piece of machinery quite easily, or be used to exploit Raritanium's ability to become more durable when electricity is applied to it.
A source of mana, or it being made into a Mana collector would make it a great bladed instrument as well, with it's ability to protrude energy spikes from it's exposed faces.
It's durability is also a bonus, on it's own it is a rather sharp piece of crystal, and might do good as a hunting implement of some sort.
The ability to respawn at a Phylactery is part of having it in the first place. Regeneration is a part of that, and will come naturally with more of your shards.
The Shard glows like a soul when looking through your leg using a series of mirrors.
"Tampering? Absurd, nobody would Tamper with a soulshard, especially not one of mine!" You reply to yourself arrogantly.
You decide to use the shard to trigger a flood of memories of your past.
You remember your secret files, made during a 30 year sprint of Paranoia and scarcity. You learned to use ash and limestone in place of flesh and bone, Any ash made from burning things can now be used in place of muscle in a creation, and anything made of Limestone can substitute bone in all necromantic uses.
You also remember how your original robe was made. Char cloth Enchanted with a special spell, any type of cloth made into a charred variety can be enchanted with this spell, which causes the Material to regenerate as much as it can using every source of mana given to it to return to it's original shape at the time of Enchanting.
You remember your personal experience with abominations, More specifically, your most effective one, Joahenry, a souled abomination that was likely killed after your disappearance, Getting him back would be a massive boon, considering he has a copy of your Studies in life and death. Joahenry was also a savant in every aspect you could need, and while the heads on the end of his 14 Bat wings bickered very often, there was no doubting that they could make just about anything you did better with their advice and counsel, not to mention the Venom Glands in the fangs you attached to said wings, which were toxic enough to degrade just about anything organic.
You remember your first home you lived in after your banishment, a Stone Statue of a great worm, chopped into sections, with age the surface collapsed, revealing the hollow innards that provided you with shelter, warmth, and safety until you truly began to use your powers.
You remember how to make a chair that is actually comfortable for you, and with amusement, how one of your first major creations before you understood how your minions required certain things to function, was a Chair on legs made from an old skeleton you found buried under one of the parts of the statue, that could take you anywhere you liked, you were so mad at the time how no amount of kicking got it to rise without more mana after a while. but now it just seems nostalgic, and innocent.
"One piece of my soul down, and if all of them are this small... several hundred to go."You gain minor regeneration and Mana from simply having part of your soul at all, a hollow place within you feels full once more, and you place the shard somewhere safe.
You sense 3 more shards closest to you, according to your likely inaccurate map of the world ("Death Zone", you still can't get over that.), One lies on an island Directly east of this continent, part of "The Island Trio", reachable by a ship from Aul Ber Bay, the Next lies somewhere in the wasteland to the south, unlike the deserts of Outskirt Lookout, The wastelands Southeast of The Volcanic mountain range are nothing but stone and spikes the whole way through, paired with obstacles that are nothing to sneeze at, literally an ancient temple or Camp of Cultists, or Technofreaks, or Actual Monsters, every other step.
The last Shard is in the actual Volcanic Mountain Range, a country of Lava Flows, Toxic gas, mines, dwarves, and Dragons, Known for being the Dwarven homeland, according to Harkim, little news comes out of there anymore.
You test the Magic Polybos against the Cavern wall, the normal mana shot Pierces the wall, leaving a thick Amber Rod sticking from the brick and mortar, fusing near Death wht the next shot using it's built in fusion sigil, The bolt is Scythe shaped, and spins as it goes straight, it is very odd. The last one, Being fused with Clear Steel, becomes a Giant Disk, which while launched slower, Rocochets off the walls, and into your prompt usage of the Hematite Tower Shield. -2 Mana
...you fuse the sand organ with Kinesis, getting a sandy Orb. It acts with a mind of it's own, and tries to do things with sand near it, This is plopped in the mummy, you sew it up, and Animate your new creation. -3 Mana
You fuse the dispenser, the Clear Steel lever, and one of the Mark II Blasters left over from your experiments, and get a large grey rectangular tube on a clear steel stick, it appears to fire by Shoving your arm forward to flip the leverhandle, and reloaded by Yanking back, while it is on one's shoulder. A Tag on the side that looks like it should have a name is blank. It functions by coating something put inside it in a highly energetic bubble, which transfers it's damaging aspects, without harming the thing fired, assuming the object in question does not normally destroy itself upon being thrown at something. You fire the Weapons-grade Brick at a zombie you raise just for the occasion, The Brick punches clean through the Zombie and Heals the rest of it, leaving it's net damage at about zero. It seems the highly caustic mana surrounding the brick was slightly counteracted by the Necromantic energies held by the brick, you pry the brick from the wall, It is unharmed.
You could probably shoot anything out of this using a handy-dandy minion or two to carry it.
You enthusiastically agree to provide food and water to the Traveler, making an urn of Ice cold, Pure, and refreshing water. you have to take a moment to pluck a sprout out of your stump, some weird side effect of using that much plant mana at once, you offer that and Craft a fine Dinner with Dublin's Orcish talent in the matter, you offer a number of plant and meat based dishes to the Entlike creature and he happily devours as much as he is given, the water urn empty and dry as a bone.
"Modifications and augmentations, they work up an apatite." he says, snuffling a bit as he wipes his mouth of the delicious curry Dublin has whipped up using Marrow Peppers, Red hot Grasses, and apparently, A bit of mimic meat for exotic flavor, Though Dublin complains of it tasting like "Fake Grapes".
He takes the Fertilizer, and Stores it in his Satchel, in what is apparently a specific spot for that.
"I can sell you just about anything you could need, Water production, A variety of Fertilizer, or just about anything else if you have the coin or the goods.""I am running low on explosive powder and pellets as I often am, and any type of metal plate would be fantastic, the stranger the better. I can pay in coin, or as I know you Meats love, Spice, extremely valuable spice, worth more than gold." He holds out a Bag that thunks and a small one that is colored an off red.
