You both leap from the claw, and you reach out with your organic hand.

"Leave us alone."

With a mad scramble, sand begins erupting all around you, it's eye begins glowing.

"What a waste of energy."

You close your eyes, and turning, gesture at the claw in your grasp, with a snap, it clamps down on it's own eye.

You and Galarn't leave, hearing a massive explosion behind you, you don't bother to look back, it is more badass that way.

Your minion follows behind as fast as it can on foot, it may take longer to make it back though.

You sense your cloak's remains all the way back at your base suddenly.

The ambiance back there is absolutely saturated with your mana as well.

You will reach your friends next turn, unless interrupted.

What cloak? Why is our base saturated with mana? Is that a good thing? Did something explode? Use eye spy to check on the base.

We had a magic, self-repairing cloak but after taking a bomb point blank to the face it's enchantment broke. Presumably the enchantment is back because a large source of our mana (a phylactery shard or maybe a time-traveling us) just showed up.

Wh-what? A "new" Darkness Redeemed? With 178 pages? How have I missed this for so long? The first one was pretty swell, so I might suggest later on after I've read up to this point.

The area where you Killed the Crab worm thing is saturated with your energy. It is a neutral thing, possibly useful/harmful later on.

You consider using Eyespy right here to Check on the base, but the only minion within range is the bigbot. It is both weak and damaged.


You make it back to your friends, none the worse for wear.

There has got to be a way to turn that chain into a railgun, and to use that railgun to open the door. The only question is, would it be a railgun or a chaingun? Or a can opener...

"The guys are crowded in here, there is a lot of tension, and only half of them are drunk, Pretty sad stuff. Otherwise, you are looking at about 500 Bandits, 41 Mechs, 3 Large Mechs, and 17 Eleet hidden in various parts of the room.

You, Galarn't and Dublin each absorb a nanite vial, gaining 35, 67, and 15 Health respectively.

You drop to your feet, Gripping your stomach again. This time, a long splinter of Volitile crystal slowly and excruciatingly works its way out of your stomach.

Unable to take the slow pace, you grip it with your bone arm and just rip it out yourself. The wound seals up with help from the glowing nanites -14 Health, +15 Max Health. -3 Elbow Grease


The shard is around 4 Inches in length, and is covered with rapidly drying blood.

You also reanimate the Identification pen once more. -1 Mana

Does the castle have any windows, air vents, or other potential points of alternative entrance? How's the light inside?
