You think of a new spell using what you now know about divination. A spell that would allow you to see through the eyes of an undead you control. Your Skill books tab has been updated with necessary information.

You pass By the cloaked individual, and he remains perfectly still. Wind billowing his cloak.

You eventually reach the city. it is being overrun by bandits in Mechanical suits, Buildings burn as The mad humans destroy with gleeful abandon. Innocent civilians running away from the rancorous combat.

The king's soldiers in the street are fighting off the Machines as best as they can using their Magitek rifles, While the civilians are being evacuated.

"Where is the king, do you know Harkim?"

"The castle, there is an emergency tunnel for people in the castle itself. I am sure he would be there.

Ask the merchant person if he's okay with us appraising his wares.

Identify everything if he says yes.

"I'm going to regret this.
Two managical gems, please."

Use the managical gems then attack the bandits!
Nevermore, Take aim at one of the bandits piloting those robots!
Flame skeleton, distract their flamethrower fire!
Zombie Wolf pack, try to topple some of the robots over!
"Wizard butler! Sorry to distract you, but I'm gonna need your help, try to throw some bandits out of those suits!"
Fake edit:

Well, do all that after this.

Try to engrave a crackpot sigil on their suits. I want to see the look on their face when they realize they're melting

I think it's a bad idea to try something that almost certainly has side effects without knowing what it does.

I mean. What if it manalocks us for a day?

Yhea, but look at how much mana we already have, not really enough to do anything in the way of offensive manoeuvres, might as well risk it if only not to get flambéed by a mech suit.

Ninja'd. Lets just take out these mechs quickly and secretly. Who knows maybe we can use the parts for scrap metal.

Or we can use my original idea for swarming them.
Also, that book of real spells seems quite useful, if only because those spells can be adapted to work a little better.

What's the plausibility of adapting the spells?

So what do you guys think about my idea?

Fireball can be adapted to having flaming hands of justice, lightning bolt can be adapted to summon lightning around ourselves and we could use the same theory for the fire breath spell so as to make it not hurt anyone but the people we choose.
Magic shield is great as long as we can stop it from falling and that one offensive spell we have to just try to make it more mana efficient.

How much mana does a crackpot sigil take? We only have 3 mana, remember.

> Buy the book! Those spells might be useless on their own, but we can recombine them with other stuff and for that the basic nature of them is actually a positive! Do point out the flaws and haggle the price down while not mentioning how useful we'd find it thou.

> Have skeletons zerg climbing up one of the suits and pulling the pilot out so we at least get that loot!
