Another zombie game brought to you by me, the guy who always abandons his games. I promise this will at least get off the ground first.
Bastion: All That Remains
You are the last of the human race. Well, okay, that's not true. You're the last of humanity. Also, possibly not true. A small group of idiots holed up in the last safe place on Earth. Long story short, the zombie apocalypse happened, and it didn't end well. Or, more specifically, it didn't end. These days, the only living you can find are lone scavengers, and civilization just plain disintegrated. A few groups of survivors, including you, met up and decided to rebuild civilization, for better or for worse. Here you are. Try not to die, or get thrown out.
Set-Up: Part 1
This is basically apocalypse politics, the game. Keep that in mind when you read the following.
Who is with you?
Choose 2 factions. These will make up most of your population for a while.
"Rats": Inner city kids, gangsters, and generally not the kind of people you want to be around. About 20-30 of them, armed with knives, bats, handguns. They can handle themselves in a fight, and can do manual labor, but they aren't on the best terms with everyone else.
"Civvies": Suburban office workers, teenagers who worked service jobs, just normal Joes who got lucky. About 30-40 of them, armed with...whatever they could find, really. They don't really have any obvious skills, but....there's gotta be a reason they made it this far.
"Groundpounders": Marines, soldiers, mercenaries, the guys with the guns. There's about 10 of them, armed with rifles, pistols, knives, armor, and whatever you think about them, they're the guys you go to when you need something dead.
"Pigs": The cops. About 20 of them, wielding pistols, wearing vests. They're decent at fighting, and good at keeping people in line, but some people aren't exactly their best friends.
