A hydra and a bronze colossus have taken up residence near my fortress. What did I do to have angered the gods so?

What else do you need for Jason and the Argonauts?  Some harpies and skeletons?

Okay, a Hydra and a Giant Unstoppable Bronze Man in your forts residence, can be solved by doing the following. Press Escape, select 'Abandon Fortress', Reclaim.

Or if you're not one to scream and give up, dig a moat, make a draw bridge, pull the bridge up, build fortifications to fire through and train a lot of marks dwarves, then hope for the best. That's what i'd do. it'd probably not work, but still. Better to go out fighting.

Lure them into your fortress and smush them with a drawbridge.

Cyclops I think, and a witch.  But the Hydra fell to Hercules, not Jason.
