*Tsktsk* the proper way to treat an arrow wound is to leave the arrow in until you can get treatment. The arrow blocks the blood-flow, keeping you from bleeding to death. He can have some of the medicine to heal him, but we must apply first aid correctly!

You have an engaging conversation with the guard, who comes to like you after a while. Once he becomes able to walk, he gets you some medicine and a glass of lemonade. He subsequently redecorates the castle in the three colors that your sword has been.

A dog also shows up.
