Draw things on the "dead" person's face before he escapes! That way, when he comes back, he will look silly and know that we have truly won.

b. leads to things like blinking sideways and doughnut rain?

WARNING. Game mechanics will now come into play, because I'm tired of the nonsense. The two bits of game mechanics that will be apparent:
You won't die because I think you've made one too many stupid decisions, you'll die because you run out of hit points. Similarly, you'll also run into fights instead of just randomly fighting what I feel like with no real impacts.
You will now have stats, which will be important in fights and NPC interactions.

Oh, I'm also reusing sprites for your party instead of freehanding it every time.

Also, your sword redesigned itself again because I was tired of how fiddly it was to draw the handle.
Lykos runs away because nobody liked her she was sick of you calling her "boy". She shouts something about "look in the basement and stop bothering me" and runs away.

Shopro decides to speak with you.
