There is nothing of interest on hat guy's body, and Xinon didn't really have anything good on him, either. Both of them seem quite dead, although there's also the off chance that they'll be one of those annoying plot-important guys who can survive losing all their hit points like three times.

There's nothing really interesting in this room, but in the next room, there's a lot of interesting stuff.
What you see first are the large number of bags and bins full of sugar, one of which contains several blood stains and a punctured arm sticking out of it. Bucket guy is nowhere to be seen, but his buckets and bucket-stick are on the ground. There is also a familiar face from the old country: Ulap, Jakuna's most well-known general, with his old sword leaning against the wall. Most striking is the giant, circled J, written in blood, on the wall. The sign of Jakuna.
Of course. Jakuna can't stand to not run criminal enterprises, and is smuggling sugar out here.
