Postal and Harvester both also get involved with the concept of transgressive fiction. Being something that goes Too Far is the point. Whether Hatred also qualifies or not is kind of hard to say at this stage, but the advertising strategy definitely draws from it.

If you don't think Postal is deliberately offensive, I wonder what is deliberately offensive to you.

Postal 1 was mpstly just stupod and pointless. Postal 2 was the really offensive game.

This is better publicity than spending 1 million on advertising.

Funny how this game has kept on chugging yet that older game about the second battle of fallujah was knocked pretty quickly.

Konami....if Konami hadn't jumped out at the first sign of controversy.

Game is literally complete, but lost in limbo. In this day and age, couldn't they self publish or something?

Or yet another controversy will get sparked to remind everyone, like getting pulled off the shelves of some store over a dishonest petition. And I imagine mainstream media will want a look at it once it comes out as well.

From a business standpoint, I think these people have hit the bullseye. This is the second time they've gotten a free wave of marketting.

And the great thing is that any games they make after it will get extra attention paid to them because they're by those twats who made Hatred, so what are they doing now?

Right? It looked REALLY good too. Kinda like modern-day RO2?

I heard it was disappointing. Can't remember from who, though.
