"Oh yeah! ... do you think I can just use my torch?"
Kyle says turning to Jeff.
Jeff pauses.
"Let's at least try that before we even think about going down the hole that thing came out of."
[d20 = 19+1 welding] Jeffs pulls the metal back plate out of his vest and tells Aedan to stand back. Using it like a mask, he peers through a thin cut he made a long time ago and begins a cut right in the middle of the door, intending to burn a hole big enough to climb through. It takes a long time, but Jeff finally finishes the burn. He turns off the torch and gives the door a push. A glowing red circle drops out the other side with a brief clatter. Jeff stuffs the protective plate back into his vest and warns that the edge of the portal is sharp, and still a bit hot. Aedan bends down to peer through the hole. He can see that the corridor goes on a bit longer and ends in a second door similar to the one they just cut through. On the right hand wall are a bunch lockers, it looks like an area for workers to don their uniforms. He can also see a small computer terminal in the corner beside the second door.
Short, very tan man with black hair who always has a smile on his face. He's always wearing a cobbled-together flak jacket and a too-big helmet, saying that they will "protect his precious squishy body". Is a wee bit paranoid, after an unfortunate incident involving a surveillance system, a toaster, and enemy fire.

"Zietboro can you pop your head out, and get a better look at whatever these things are? Maybe look for a sign as to a building or something that might have equipment, or gear for us to loot."
Be ready to pull mad reverse tonk driving maneuvers if something bad happens.
You roll the tank forwards slowly between the large black crates. Zietboro turns the latch and eases the command hatch open carefully.
I'm looking at these boxes, I can see serials. 'S-CB-09, Type.300 Mk.B' They're definitely wardroids inside. Fuck me, there's got to be close to a hundred of them in here. You emerge from the rows of black crates, they stop about halfway across the entire warehouse floor. The headlamps flood the whole area with light, and even from inside the tank you can see that the rest of the building is mostly empty except for some stacks of, much smaller, ordinary wooden crates shoved into a pile against the opposite wall. Very ordinary, Zietboro reports that she can't see any markings on the boxes from here. One corner of the warehouse is partitioned off by walls, forming a small side room, probably for storage.. Perhaps an office or a locker room? And in the middle of the wall there's another roller door similar to the one you guys used to get into the warehouse.
Zietboro sweeps her searchlight around and she illuminates a pile of wires that she didn't see before. She follows the trail with the beam and sees a stack of electronics resting smack in the middle of the empty warehouse floor. It looks like some kind of computer terminal. The bundles of wires are connected to one of the large crates. This one looks different from the others, lopsided, almost as if it's falling apart. Pieces of the siding are shifted at funny angles and bits of metal and rubber conduits protrude here and there.

Of average height and his build borders on fat, but with just a hint of muscle that shows that is isn't as weak as he seems to be. He has short black hair, a short black beard, and beady, blue eyes. He can usually be seen wearing a faded blue uniform with a vast array of medals pinned to his breast, which is odd because most of his medals seem to be handmade out of solder and scrap iron. His uniform has also been altered slightly, so that he has plenty of pockets to hide bits and pieces in. To top off his look, he has a faded blue, wide-brim hat on his head.
