Vanitate says nothing, struggling with his rage. How DARE that rock do that to HIM?! He wanted to lash out, with blade or spell. But that wouldn't serve his porpoise. Calm. Soon he would be given his due and these indignities would cease to occur.

Finally, he speaks, in a voice as cold and featureless as a glacier.
||The tavern seems like the best place to go. Meet you there.||

Then he turns without another word and goes into the city, cloak flapping behind him.

Go ask the guards about any problems with raiders, bandits, monsters or other hostile forces I can help with.

The castle is surounded by forests on the west and hills on the east



The guards have complaints about bandits that have been raiding the trade routs



The tavern is filled with drunken bar fights, drunken singing, and people complaining of their lost items

As the sun sets you all meet back at a table in the tavern to discuss what to do next to increase your fame

The drunken inferior peasants were infuriating. Only with a great effort of will[16], did Vanitate resist the urge to slaughter all of them. Tolerance was a means to an end. Vanitate walked up to one of the people begging for their lost items to be found.

Vanitate grits his teeth. The indignities he would suffer for future rewards...
