The Centaurs of Waantau, knowing that they have enough food to feed every mouth, raid around #10 for more artifacts. Oh and more slaves...

The Technocracy begins to establish mining operations around the copper vein.

The Technocracy informs civilans of the high flooding chance and assists with those who wish to evacuate to high ground.

The GLORIOUS NETWORK OF HARBAKHSTAN! sends hunters to capture the horses (alive), and sets the Kobold workers on making stone fish-traps along the riverbanks, designed to capture fish when the river floods and then recedes. Stores are built on high ground as a matter of course, but additional earthworks are designed for extra protection from potential floodwaters.

The Azutan Tribes

THe Azutan Tribes has managed to capture an outsider! This outsider was carrying strange weapons, much sharper than the stone-weapons our warriors have. The outsider has been sent to the high-chef for interigattion. It is going slowly, since they obviously speak different languages.

A pest has been sent from the gods! A disease is slowly going from tribe to tribe, mostly killing children and elders. The Cheifs are doing what they can to contain the situation, and many tribes has moved south towards the delta in an attempt to escape the disease.

One of the Azutan Tribes has spotted the horses, and has sent their warriors to capture them.

Begin building intricate gardens to support the growing populous, also create a forum at the centre of the nation to discuss the matters and needs of the people to give them more control over their own life.

Let the Orcs and elves gather supplies for a big festival.

The good

Scouting parties investigate the beings that live in the softer lands at 2, though they avoid contact with the beings. Strange, bipedal beings, they speak a unknown tongue and vary greatly in their appearance, and their hives are constructed oddly. While they are there, they find game, and hunting parties often skitter down from the mountain. The food shortage is eased, at least slightly, and meat is smoked, leather made into armour, and bone carved into tools and possible trade goods, if the strange-ones are willing to trade in the future.

The Bad

One of the hive queens is sick! A malignant illness no medicine or blessing can heal is growing inside her, and she may perish soon. She must choose a successor quickly, before she dies and her hive crumbles and dissolves into the others.

Response to A and B: deploy militia to wilderness regions (outer territories) to seek edible plants and hunt game to reduce effects of food shortage. Use it as a chance to train militia in wilderness survival, search and recon, marksmanship, basic discipline and cooperation, and for recruits to get to know the terrain, and most importantly to put an army on the rebels' doorstep. Compensate landowners in the area where necessary. Purchase food from private stores wherever possible at 130% market value and distribute to areas where food shortage is worst.

Other events:
+ the royal family has provided funding for developing infrastructure in the outer territories, including irrigation channels and road networks.
+ expeditions have been sent to territories 1, 3, 4 and 5 on the map to map the land. 1 And 3 are found to be inhabited, the region 1 group returns reporting they're unwilling to advance unprepared into this territory because of the weird monsters they found everywhere, and region 3 group attempts to establish communications with the locals
- the expedition to region 1 leaks information to the populace when they return, and panic spreads
- the royal treasury and treasuries of the councils have been largely depleted.
