滚冲人: Roll to punch people
What is this?An in-character RTD with a theme as if it was a chinese martial arts movie set in the 1750-ish. Think Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon or Hero. Your characters will not (initially) be able to run on water, stand on bamboo trees or jump 3 stories, but expect your powers to grow.
You are a ragtag band of outlaws (for one reason or the other), currently laying low in a tavern on the outskirts of the city of Haimen, planning your next move. Supplies are running low and your collective funds are dwindling, it's time for a big score.
Style of playBe funny, not stupid. Try to stay in character, but this isn't a hardcore pen and paper RPG, it's an RTD. No mythical or historical player characters.
Rules?[1] - Catastrophic failure
[2] - Failure
[3] - Minor failure

Character sheetName: (Chinese names, but please include a nickname. Ex: Xiao "Lotus Palm" Feng)
Age:
Gender:
Appearance:
Tiny backstory: (Tiny!)
Stats: (See below)
Prefered weapon: (See below)
StatsValid values are 1-5.
1 is subpar for a normal human.
2 is average for a normal human.
3 is really good for a normal human.
4 is quite absurd.
5 is the stuff of legends.
Having a stat value 1 means a -1 penalty on rolls. A value of 3 to 5 is a +1 to +3 on rolls, respectively.
You can start with ONE value of 3, THREE values of 2 and rest is value 1.
Fitness: The physical offensive stat. Basicly a str/dex hybrid. Used for most rolls involving a physical effort.
Endurance: The physical resistance stat. Used for exerting yourself, not passing out from pain, holding your breath for extended periods.. Etc.
Charisma: The social offensive stat. Your ability to influence others. Also used to decide first impressions.
Composure: The social resistance stat. Resist others attempt to manipulate you or spot a lie.
Wits: The mental stat. How smart, clever, intelligent you are. Used for both offensive and defensive rolls, as a mental defensive stat seemed a bit too narrow.
Common sense: Optional stat. Can be left at 0. If not 0, a success on a common sense roll means the GM will ask "are you sure?" if you are about to do something _really_ stupid. How you use this is up to you.
WeaponsAnything that fits the theme. Bo-staffs, Dao/Jian/Wushu swords, polearms (Kwan Dao, Pudao, spades, halberds), whips, daggers, hookblades, bare fists, bows, crossbows, blowdarts, throwing knives… if you can convince me a character in a chinese martial arts movie would use it, I'll allow it!
Dualwielding is allowed.
