It should be soon {Game wise. Time wise it depends on the group}. There's a specific point that your character's going to show up. It's been planned for a while now.

Just a thought, but you might want to coordinate with Tawa via PM so he can work out how to handle the situation IC before it's dropped on the rest of us.

Wait wait wait. I want to ask you guys something before I get re-added.

I've had another sheet sitting around for quite some time for another character concept that I really want to try out, so I'd like to ask you all since now is my opportunity to get a character in somewhere and I've played plenty of sorcerers already.

Who sounds more interesting as another party member: a blaster-build sorcerer as I've been planning or a Charisma-heavy dragonfire adept? I was thinking about the Adept because they have a cool character concept, seem significantly more versatile than the sorcerer, and are supposedly better at direct damage.

In terms of utility: If you had a Mailman-style sorcerer in the works, yes, otherwise the Adept.
In terms of roleplaying: Whichever character is more interesting both to you and to the party dynamic.

Oh shit, that's right. It's in Dragon Magic. Good luck with this one, Tawa.

Dragonfire Adept?
From one of the dragon something splatbooks. I copied the DnDtools page before it went down because the character class was just too cool for me to never use. It'd probably be easier to just go with the sorcerer if you're unfamiliar with the Adept, though.

In terms of roleplaying: Whichever character is more interesting both to you and to the party dynamic.
Actually, the Mailman guide was what I was basing Robin off of, so he is a (somewhat simplified) pretty decent blaster. (Spell Compendium has these great "[Lesser] Orb of ___" spells.) I found both characters equally interesting, so I wanted the opinions of the people who had to deal with them.

FAKEDIT: Ninja'd.

Orb spells are fucking amazing. They're what Evocation failed to be.

Studded leather has a -1 armour check penalty. I'm not sure what, if any, rolls a badger might make that this would apply to? Is it worth the extra AC? I presume so.

Even the shitty wiki covers the SRD. Likely not too much of a problem.
