Ah, yikes, sorry everyone; I didn't notice that it was my turn. Up momentarily.

I'm quite content with my decision that my character screams like a maniac during combat. It creates an entertaining image in my head.

Whoops. I might have slightly missed that I was quite damaged. Could somebody do something about the whole I'm dying thing? Like give me my CLW potion or something? I presume I can't do much whilst dying.

I've missed every time I haven't used True Strike. This most recent shot involved shouts of "THIS TIME I'LL HIT".

Nerjin: Sharos has Hide in Plain Sight with a daylight exception. He can attempt to hide even while observed, so long as he is not in daylight or the area of a daylight spell.

Any deep shadows nearby?

Ah... I keep forgetting that. But anyways it depends on one thing: Does it matter if someone has dark vision?

No. Remember, there are other versions of HiPS (like the one the Scout gets late in the class, which is the same except substitute "anywhere in a natural setting" for "anywhere not in daylight") which work the same way; the entire point of the ability is that the user can hide even while being observed, and it just happens that "daylight or magical equivalent" is the exception for this one.

Of course it's your call whether dim light reflected into city alleyways counts as daylight, in the same way that it'd be your call whether (say) a city build in a forest with tree buildings &c. counts as a natural setting.

Man... Sharos is becoming a real bother you know that? Anyways yeah. There's some areas not in direct sunlight. You can hide there.

Heh, it's balanced by the fact that this is looking to be an undead-heavy campaign and his skirmish damage (like sneak attack) doesn't affect undead without one of the workarounds.

Yes I wish I had picked undead as favoured enemy. And wasn't disabled right now.

Undead are one of the major factions... There are also demons, humans, dwarves, etc... Look at where you are on the map. That'll give you a decent idea as to what you'll be fighting.

Oh, I knew that going in. Which is why I didn't feel as bad about the optimizing.  :P
