I'm not planning to use that fact ICly, I mean for all I know he could have fought off 20 demiliches along the way. I was just hoping for some sort of OOC discussion but if you want me to drop it...

Monk's are OP, level five and you never gotta worry about sniffles, and you fall less harder and... You punch things with magic? They sound cool in theory I suppose.

3.5e Monk un-fixed is worthless for anything more than a two-level dip, though.  :P

And so ended the tale of WestEastley, the only swordsage I ever ran.

Re: Monks: I've heard a 6-level dip can be good for that bonus feat, though. It's crap past there unless you add in serious class-fixing, which entails at least full BaB and better abilities than slowfall. I've heard that counting gauntlets as weapons for enchanting and unarmed strikes for damage and proficiency works wonders.

Disease immunity barely factors in due to the sheer rarity of catching a disease unless you're in one of those five-a-dime campaigns everybody runs where the only monsters are rats, mummies, and mummy rats. :P

I'll give it another day or two. If nobody responds I'll just dump the plot dialogue out so we can move on.
