also, seeing that there's much discussion going on (6 pages already, wow), and things might get really cluttered, i'm thinking about dedicating a new topic just for turn and journal posts. that way, a reader wouldnt have to fight through pages of OOC and off topic to read the whole thing, and there wouldnt be any "false alerts" about updates.
what do you think?
I agree with this and will keep my IC reply until then.  :)

I'd ask for screenshots of our Dwarves information, but once the Migrants arrive, that'd be a little too much to upload, I'd think.

Oh well, contradictions are just problems with the records! :P
I would actually like to see them, at least of the players' information.
That would only be about ten, not very difficult with screenshots.

Yeah. Especially with how ditsy my Dwarf seems in that first write up. I'm leaning towards having her actually be the one who tracked down the other she-Dwarves (If she brews that well, she probably knows most of the tarverns/inns the others were getting drunk at! 8) ) in exchange for being able to cook and brew without any other Dwarf to dictate what she put into anything.

I'd be interested in seeing if that matches the in-game information.  :D

Not sure if dying of old age is an honor or a shame for weaponmasters. On the one hand, it means they never got the opportunity to die in glorious battle. On the other hand, it means nothing could beat them in glorious battle.
Meow.

lets have profiles of the mountain dwarves and all the important figures.

most of them fit quite well. the funny thing is that this is purely coincidential. i didnt even pay attention to the profiles when writing the Prologue.

CURRENT RELATIONSHIP CHART:
(The professions have been changed already to accord to the genders. i noticed it too late.)

Spoiler: "The Nobles" (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: "The Peasants" (click to show/hide)

Prologue is promising a really good story. Can't wait to read more. :)

"She has good intuition, but she has poor analytical abilities."
*laughs* Perfect.
So she was bluffing when she seemed to buy the story, but she can't see enough steps ahead to guess anyone else's future plans.

Also, it's safe to guess that everyone but Breemont are heterosexual? Not even one Asexual?

Also, the first chapter.

feel free to write journals and stuff now, i can edit everything so it fits. I like writing, so no problem.

Entertaining read thus far.
The backstory gives a good reason for the segregation.
Don't forget to dworf we peasants, though, in case some wish to write journals.

EDIT: Ah, seems that they are dorfed, missed the names in the relationship screen, and the names above the profiles.
Error on my part.

"Queen of the Woods," huh.  Well, I think I can work with that.

Going to have to rework the persona I had going, though.  That modesty trait is certainly a curveball.

(I obviously have no clue if she actually fished or not. I just went with the size of the dots on the DT image. :P )

you don't need to rework your persona.

i only called her queen of the wods because she was assigned wood cutting and crafting labors. i can still change accordingly!

i would never want to hinder anybodies creativity.

I meant from the dwarven description.  She has a couple of traits that I'll have to incorporate:

"Finds maintaining decorum a silly, fumbling waste of time"
"Calm Demeanor"
"She tends to present herself modestly"
"Swayed by the emotions of others"

Many of the other traits work well, but those I'll have to be careful with in order to maintain the elitism, while at the same time being practical and (at least in her mind) benevolent and caring.

*Cracks knuckles*

Time to break out Sciviner and do a character map.

I just hope we have potatoes, for without potatoes what is life? I also fear for the lives of my patients if I don't get any potato wine. As I prefer to drink while working.
